I proudly endorse Tara Waters for Wake County Commission District 5. As a former member of the Wake County Board of Education, Tara has consistently demonstrated unwavering dedication to our students, families, and teachers. Her distinctive viewpoint as a parent grappling with the challenges in our county makes her the ideal candidate. I am honored to call her a friend committed to public service. 

Tara Waters is a proven leader.  I was afforded the opportunity to work with her during her tenure as a school board member and noticed her passion for education and community.  She is engaging and passionate about realizing opportunities and access to education, health care, public safety and affordable housing-which all will be top priorities as a county commissioner.  I look forward to continuing our working relationship as we press forward with addressing key issues that will improve the quality of life for all of Wake County.  Therefore-I am proud to endorse this outstanding leader as she realize the seat of County Commissioner for District 5.  I ask that you join me in voting for Tara on November 8th. 

It was a joy and a privilege to work with Tara on the Wake County Board of Education. While I'm sad to lose her from the school board, I am beyond excited over her opportunity to serve on the Board of Commissioners.
